      LifeOS ("we", "our", or "us") provides Obsidian plugins, a desktop application, a browser extension, and supporting backend services (collectively, the "Service") published at https://lifeos.vip. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

      1. Information We Collect

      1.1 Information you provide

      • Account / activation information. When you purchase or activate a paid plugin, we collect your email address and an activation token issued for your account.
      • Support communications. If you contact us by email or via our community channels, we receive the contents of those communications.

      1.2 Information collected automatically

      • Basic usage telemetry. We may log anonymous request metadata (timestamp, plugin version, error messages) to operate and improve the Service. We do not collect the contents of your Obsidian vault.
      • Website analytics. Our marketing website may use privacy-respecting analytics (Microsoft Clarity, Google AdSense) to understand aggregated traffic patterns. You can opt out via your browser settings.

      1.3 Information stored locally on your device

      LifeOS is a local-first product. Your notes, tasks, calendars, and AI conversation history are stored on your own device (in your Obsidian vault or local application data) and are not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly enable a sync feature you control.

      2. Third-Party Services

      We rely on the following third parties only for the specific purposes listed below:

      • Creem — payment processing for plugin purchases. Creem receives your billing details directly; we never see your full card number.
      • Google OAuth / Google Calendar / Google Drive — only if you connect your Google account to enable calendar sync or Drive integration. Tokens are stored locally on your device.
      • OpenAI / Anthropic / other AI providers — only if you configure an AI feature with your own API key. Prompts are sent directly to the provider you configure; we do not proxy or store them.

      3. How We Use Information

      We use the information described above to:

      • Deliver, maintain, and secure the Service;
      • Validate license / activation tokens;
      • Respond to support requests;
      • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
      • Comply with legal obligations.

      We do not sell your personal information.

      4. Data Retention

      • Activation records are retained for as long as your license is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support refunds, fraud prevention, and recordkeeping.
      • Support emails are retained as long as needed to handle your request.
      • Local data (notes, tasks, calendars, AI history) lives on your device; you can delete it at any time by removing the plugin or clearing the vault.

      5. Your Rights

      Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

      6. Children's Privacy

      The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

      7. Security

      We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

      8. International Users

      LifeOS is operated from China and may be accessed worldwide. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in jurisdictions that may have different data protection rules than your own.

      We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced on this page.
