Data Privacy
Your data security and privacy are our top priorities.
LifeOS Data Privacy Policy
Local-First Philosophy
LifeOS is designed with a local-first approach. All your notes, tasks, and personal data are stored locally in your Obsidian vault. We do not have access to your vault contents.
No Data Collection
LifeOS does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers. Your productivity data, notes, and configurations remain entirely on your device.
Optional Cloud Sync
If you choose to use Obsidian Sync or third-party sync services, please review their respective privacy policies. LifeOS itself does not facilitate or manage any cloud synchronization.
Calendar Sync (Pro Feature)
LifeOS Pro includes calendar functionality. If you choose to sync with external calendars (CalDAV or Google Calendar), your calendar data will be transmitted to those services. Please review their respective privacy policies:
- For Google Calendar, refer to Google's Privacy Policy
- For CalDAV services, refer to your provider's privacy policy
LifeOS Pro only transmits the minimum necessary data required for calendar synchronization.
License Verification
For Pro version users, license verification requires minimal data exchange (license key validation only). No vault contents or personal information is transmitted during this process.
Our Commitment
LifeOS respects your privacy. Your data stays on your device, and we never access, collect, or monetize your personal information.
